Getting started

The best way to inquire about commissioning a custom portrait is to connect with me personally. You can call me direct or send me an email at touchoflightstudios@gmail.com with your reference photo/s attached.

I work one on one with each person to ensure nothing shy of perfection is achieved.

Mediums

All portraits are done with a white lead based charcoal pencil on the highest quality black acid free Artagain paper.

Creating portraits with white charcoal is very challenging. Very few artists offer this, making these portraits extremely unique. I believe more emotion and life is captured using this rare process. I am very proud to be able to offer it.

All portraits are hand drawn by me.

I may expand my mediums in the near future.

Payment

Amount must be paid in full to confirm your portrait.

Payment can be done via e-transfer. Other options also available.

There are no refunds for completed artwork.

I am yet to have a customer be anything but thrilled with the final result.

Tips are welcomed.

Shipping

Your finished portrait will be securely wrapped, packaged and insured, sent by courier with tracking. You will also receive a digital copy of the completed portrait so you have the option to make prints, cards or to share on social media.

A $40 charge will be added for all shipped portraits.

If your lucky enough to live on Vancouver Island we can arrange for hand delivery by yours truly.
